Well, we made it through a very cold and dark January. And that’s just the weather! Let’s hope for brighter and more uplifting days ahead. Here’s hoping to see your smiling face at one of these upcoming gigs.
Feb. 1st - “The Doors: Unhinged” at The Purple Onion featuring Reggie Headen with an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of the charismatic and electrifying Reggie Headen; with JP (guitars), Taylor Pierson (keyboards), Zack Page (bass) and Jay Hoots (drums) - 8pm

Feb. 6th & March 6th - The Alien Music Club Jazz Jam at Turgua Brewing in Fairview; 1st Thursday of each month! Low pressure, fun music in a warm, welcoming atmosphere! - 6 to 8pm

March 8th - “The Doors: Unhinged” at Highland Brewing in the Tasting Room! Reggie Headen with JP (guitars), Taylor Pierson (keyboards), Zack Page (bass) and Jay Hoots (drums) - 6pm

May 11th - Alien Music Club “And Now For Something Completely Different!” at Highland Brewing! This show has a unique Sci-Fi Rock Opera vibe! Expect original, unusual, eccentric material including jazz, rockabilly, funk and much more. The exceptional lineup features JP (guitar/vocals), Chuck Lichtenberger (piano/vocals), Alex Travers (violin/guitar), Ryan Kijanka (bass) and Jaron Pearlman (drums/vocals) 6pm

May 30th - The AMC Rock n’ Soul Revue at One World Brewing West! It’s a musical exploration into the heartbeat of 50’s, 60’s & 70’s Rock and Soul music. From Tom Petty to Aretha Franklin, from Etta James to Steve Miller Band, this show meets everybody in the middle. Three quintessential song interpreters, Peggy Ratusz, Reggie Headen, and Jonathan Pearlman, join forces to present this nostalgia inducing, revved up, effervescent show. You’ll hear songs by Marvin Gaye, Joe Cocker, Sam & Dave, and The Rolling Stones.
This stellar 8-piece band features Taylor Pierson (keys), Ryan Kijanka (bass), Justin Watt (drums), Dylan Hannan (sax), Frank Southecorvo (Bari Sax) and me. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to witness first hand, up close and personal, this dynamic show! 8pm

“We Will Rise” Musical Fundraiser! I am pleased to be working with a group of very talented WNC musicians on a musical project entitled "We Will Rise"! The creation of multi-talented composer for film and media, Janet Rabin Phillips, this project endeavors to raise money for victims of Hurricane Helene. Musical participants include Peggy Ratusz, Hope Griffin, Eric Congdon, Quinn Sternberg, Jason DeCristofaro and me. The song will be released along with a GoFundMe page in coming weeks. I will post a link here.
